In the footsteps of the mini-course “photos that I want to watch”, with dizzying success held in Moscow in April of 2016, we decided to hold a workshop in London, where, as you know, is this a photographic paradise.

But shooting in Paradise is not easy: any more or less photogenic object has already managed to attract the attention of thousands and thousands of people with cameras who had the audacity to be there before you. London is the ocean of cliché and not to drown in it is our first priority. The main goal is to bring your own foggy Albion photos that your family, friends, acquaintances and even complete strangers will look at not as a matter of courtesy, but because they really want to. The workshop will follow a full immersion routine. That is, we will all live together in a large and, if possible, pretty strange apartment, waking up with a camera, in the morning to go hunting, and in the evening go through the pictures in a ruthless, but the constructive manner, and listen to an exciting lecture. With nightfall, all tired, but satisfied photo compatriots would peacefully fall asleep with cameras in their hands or under the pillow. The seminar for five extraordinary days learn how to:

  • use the features of visual perception to create surprising, exciting, and simply unforgettable photographs.
  • avoid cliché and trivial decisions, not neglecting the world-famous British archetypes
  • to act quickly and discreetly as the real Henri Cartier-Bresson, but be classy like Henry Fox Talbot
  • to photograph things that do not exist
  • enjoy British hospitality for the sake of photography
